The United States Mission in Vietnam is pleased to announce the 2013-2014 competition for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. The Humphrey Fellowship Program is a one-year, non-degree, full scholarship program offered to promising mid-career professionals who have a proven track record of leadership, and a strong commitment to public service. Participants spend one year at a leading U.S. university working in a self-designed program of independent study and participate in professional affiliations off-campus, field trips, special workshops and seminars in their field of study. Fellows are selected based on their potential for national leadership and commitment to public service in either the public or private sector.

The Fulbright Program in Vietnam of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi begins its recruitment for qualified candidates for the 2013 Vietnamese Scholar Program. The 2012 Endeavour Executive Award from the Australian Education International (AEI) provides professional development opportunities of (1 to 4 months) for high achievers in business, industry, education or government from participating countries. The Awards focus on building skills and knowledge through a host work environment rather than through formal enrolment in a study program at a host organisation and are not intended to fund direct academic research (if your activity will result in you receiving, or contributes to, a formal academic qualification, you will not be eligible to apply for an Executive Award).

FCU facilitates two types of scholarship programs for international students (type A and type B). Type A provides full tuition fee waiver and Type B provides half tuition fee for the first academic year. The tuition is directly paid from the awarded scholarship while the remainder is transferred semi-annually to the recipient’s account in March and October. Applicants do not need to submit any additional documents. Marking the option on the FCU international student admissions application form is sufficient.
